Calling from beyond

The mother has died, and the teenage son is clearly upset. The lawyer is asking the son if he knew his mother's telephone number & whether or not he called her before she died. They go back and forth citing the different numbers that were used in the home, cell, work, etc. Then this question is asked:

Q. Would there be any other phone records, other than the Bell South records of the 0362 number, that would reflect phone calls that were made to your mother before she passed away?

A. I can't remember.

Q. Do you remember your mother's phone number?

A. I can't remember my mom's number.

Q. Do you know if she still has the same number today that she had when she was alive?

A. No.
